I'd have to agree - I'm not sure why you want to replace your hoodliner, but they're about $100 from just about everywhere, especially when you start factoring in shipping. Remember that this piece cannot be folded, so it comes in a big flat box if you order online from a place like Fichtner or Fred Beans.
Carmotorsports offers a good alternative in that they will sell you a "blanket" that that is custom embroidered to your specs - color, wording, etc. that you can affix right over your existing pad, regardless of it's condition. When you're finished, you have what appears to be a brand new custom embroidered liner, that looks awesome. I have one!
Now that Rich is a Supporting Forum Vendor - and a heckuva nice guy with which to do business, and a true Vette guy - give him a call. I'd put his attention to detail and zeal for quality and a satisfied customer right up there with the best - Ken King at Vette Essentials. If you're interested in more details or photos give me a PM!

Here is what I have in mind (hard to visualize, I know). I am an artist and am going to install a painted eagle under the hood. I plan to cut the shape of the eagle out of a mirrored piece of acrylic plastic, paint the eagle on the back of the acrylic then mirror the back of that. I think it will look great as I have been experimenting with the process for some time now. I will cut the mirror the same shape as the eagle (actually slightly larger) and then cut the identical shape into the hood liner. The mirrored eagle will be recessed into the liner and attached to the actual hood. I have done this before using different types of media. The inlayed look creates a great visual image. What do you think? I could use my existing liner but if I am going to go to all of this work, I want it to look spectacular. .
