just thought i warn any vette owners in del. to stay away from Willis chevy ,in smyrna del. they will screw your vette up, they cant serv. or detail a vette with out screwing your car up, and they won't back up there work, with stealers like them no wonder gm is in trouble
Is that the only chevy dealer in smyrna? Last year caravanning to OC with my club, my radiator hose slipped off . We eventually found a chevy dealer in smyrna and boy, what PR they had; NONE! What a bunch of ignorant employees. I'm going through there Thur. going down OC and I hope my hose stays on this time, because I don't want to see those guys again.
they scatched my vette and then when i complained they said they were not going to fix it, and directed me to there laywer, i called the gm rep. in this area and she called them, and she called me back and said it was between me and them , gm was'nt getting involved, needless to say i'll never buy another gm product, i hope gm goes under
i dont know man..... everytime i find a scratch on mine a part of me dies if someone else scratched my car they should have it repaired by a professional. scratch by gm mechanic or some moms shopping cart its a scratch either way.

Best thing to do is document the damage when you sign the form to pick up the Vette. If they don't repair the vehicle do like someone else said and file on them in small claims court. I bet if you document it when you pick up the Vette and take them to small claims, they will lose or just go ahead and repair your Vette. Much easier to deal with them like this.
By the way, I edited your title to say Delaware vice deaware.
I live in Smyrna and I wont let anyone touch my '99 except Solloways, SB US 13 south of BCP. Those guys know their vets. I have delt with them for 20 years.
When I Was just out of highschool and a freshman in college, I worked as a porter for a dealership. I can ASSURE YOU they scratched the car, you wouldn't believe how often vehicles get scratched, or even run into or crashed without telling the owner. If a technician, porter, or salesman scratches the car, I GUARANTEE you they will NOT mention it to you unless you notice, THEN they will do something, most of the time. If you bitch enough, they will repair the car. While I was there I never straight up crashed a car or anything. The worst damage I Ever did working there for 2 years was I jumped into an F350 and didn't realize I hopped into a dually, I exited the drive area through a overhead door, and hit the skirt on the side of the door, bounced the truck straight.... it scuffed the paint up something fierce... and I'm ashamed to say I parked the truck, got out, wiped the side of the skirt down with some dealersol, removed the paint from the door jam, and didn't mention it.
