Harleyrules got half of it. On the "real" convertible, when you pop the tonneau, the windows (if they are up) go down automatically -- to prevent interference with the top when it is put in place.
The other thing on the "real" convertible is that you can't have the trunk open and then open the tonneau cover, again to prevent interference.
Caravaggio skipped both of those items in his conversion. Not a big deal, but that's the difference.

I agree about no big deal, it's a small price to pay over having the best of both worlds, a Z06 and convertible all in one
