Hard Starting
Last week the check engine light came on. Took it to the dealer. Bachman Chevrolet in Louisville, KY. They found the fuel, high pressure solenoid went bad. They replaced it. Now under cold start conditions, it cranks much longer than it ever has. Before all I had to do was turn the key for a second or two. Now its (5) seconds or better. Is there any relationship to the hard start issue and the Pressure solenoid?? Should the system have been recalibrated or tested after the soleniod was replaced? This doesn;t make sense. After the engine has warmed up....she starts with just a touch!!
