If your running the A4 it can be difficult. I have the 3.15 axle ratio and found that I have to floor the accelerator as fast as possible to break the tires loose.

Obviously Traction Control must be switched off. I use Competitive Driving mode which leaves Active Handling on, just in case it decides to get too out of shape.

I Have An Automatic . So You Suggest Competition Mode. What About Braking. Do I Hold The Brake And Rev To A Certain Point Or Just Use 1 Foot And Drop The Brake And Floor It.?

Default huh?

What exactly is the point of a burnout?

Is it honestly worth the investment considering the cost of tires on the Corvette?

I don't mean any offense to anyone; but without good answers to those questions, I'll elect to keep my tires instead

Well Before A 1/4 Mile Run. I Noticed That Most People Do A Burnout To Heat Up Thier Tires To Make Them More Sticky For Tracktion. Is My Logical Answer. Because It Looks Cool And Is A Lot Of Fun. Is My Not So Logical Answer.

Besides Whats The Point Of Having A Corvette If You Cant Have Fun With It. In My Opinion The Corvette Is A Modern Day Hot Rod And An Exotic Sports Car All Rolled Into One.
