I purchased the set (6) screens to give my C5 a better look. I followed the instructions for cleaning and prep but the cove screens keep sagging.
The screens came from Vetteshop and are well made but what's the secret for keeping them installed firm?????

Not sure how the set from that vendor mount, but mine had small acrylic blocks that held the screen in place. On each block was some double sided tape that after you thoroughly cleaned the mounting area really stuck to the inside of the fender. It has held my side screens right up against the cove opening. I'd say if the tape is just not holding, then go and get some new tape. The gray 3M tape works very well.
I had the same issue with mine. I fixed the problem by using black silicone on the inboard side of the screens. The trick was how to hold them secure against the opening while the silicone cured. I used a piece of string threaded through the screen and tied secure around the short piece of body side molding. If you don't have BSM then you might have to tape them from the inside until the silicone dries.
My screens are now solid as a rock! For less than $40 for the complete set of 6 screens from the Vette Shop, it was worth a little extra effort to secure the side vent screens!!!
