Default Exhaust tips

Hey guys. My 2000 has those flat black exhaust tips, and I really want some shine back there like the later C5s. Are there any good exhaust tips to replace the factory ones? I don't wanna spend the money on a whole new exhaust system right now, and I don't think I want those clip-on tips that they sell at MAM and Ecklers (unless someone tells me they actually look good).

Thanks

Hey saniterium92128,

I'm looking myself to get some exaust tips for my 98 too..

I really am in love with the corsa GTR tips, but I haven't been able to just locate the tips only... They only ocme with the exuast that is $1K

Have you looked at the corsa classic tips they sell?

hopefully somebody here could point us to where we could get some good tips apart from the standard classic tips from corsa

Yeah I have looked at those. Like you, I like alot of different tips, but they all seem to only come with the exhaust.

Buy someone's old Z06 Ti exhaust. Half the price of a new exhaust system. Check the Parts section or ebay.

I have a set of the oval corsa look a like tips that I bought from corvette america. I paid $100 plus shipping. I put less than 100 miles on them and decided to buy an actual corsa exhaust. They are the polished chrome and fit over you existing pipes and screw on. It takes about 15 minutes to put them on. I will sell them for $50 plus shipping if interested pm me. Jim

I had a friend with a 2000 FRC who put on some Borlas. I got his tips for forty bucks. They look great, and in fact give the look of the Z06 Ti system. Check or post in the parts section. Zuti

If you want the kind on '01 and up stock exhaust, send an IM to forum member Chuck Pelton. He may still have a set or two at a great price.

I have tips like the ones JD's C5 is talking about on my 2000 and they look great. I get someone asking what kind of exhaust system I have on occasion, so they do look like the real thing. If I were you I'd jump on his offer.

If you like the Corsa Classic tips they can be ordered direct from Corsa for $130.85. These are designed to slip over the '97 to '00 oval tips.

https://www.corsaperf.com/ordering2.htm

They are about a third of the way down the page, past all of the Corvette C5 and C4 exhausts. They are listed as C5 Classic tips only.

They look like this.

For my '99, I bought a set of the clip on tips from Mid-America. They looked very good IMO. I had the round tips on mine.
