Default LED Taillights/Sequencer

I've seen a lot of posts regarding complications of using tail/signal light sequencer with LED's.

A while back I bought the WebElectric plug and play sequencer and installed it with my flush mounted taillights (the Eckler's flush mount kit) on my '04 Z06. It seemed like most of the tech data on the Forum, and from technical support at various suppliers suggested that a "load" would have to be spliced into the circuit to trick the signal/hazard flasher in order for the LED's to operate properly. I have been very reluctant to splice anything into the system but have really been wanting to convert to LED's.

Yesterday (Saturday, 10/15) at Eckler's I was assured one of their technicians that they now have LED taillights that have the load built in and will work (plug and play). I bought the LED"s on the spot and installed them while at the Eckler's Reunion and they work perfectly and look great (sorry, pics do not do them justice, but look at a C6 and I've already been told that they look better than that - please don't blast me, I'm not saying they look better, but that's what others have said)

One final note, if you flush mount it's much easier to use the DIY approach rather than the kit because the back side to the LED unit is somewhat larger than the OEM unit. If you do use the kit you'll have to shave maybe 1/16th of an inch off of the spacers.
