CAR Motorsports' TLC is constructed from far different materials than the TLCs all of you have mentioned. We do use materials that are in the overkill category, but than would be our MO. Our C5 TLC board material is the same as is used for UHI applications on dozens of car models from the 1954-1996. Made to withstand high heat and impervious to liquid, a rigid material that is ready to stand the test of time. We also wrap the board with our UHI material either in black or gray. Again very thick material and heat resistant. We use ultra high temperature performance glue for not problems down the road. Finally the embroidery, simply the best available using state of the art machines and employing German Madeira Thread, the Rolex of Threads, over 300 Colors to meet your customizing needs. Best of all, this product seemless integrates with our entire line of custom embroidered products; floormats, cargo/trunk mats, dash covers, Steering Wheel Covers, Underhood Insulators, seat belt shoulder cushions, fender mats, Car Covers, etc. We allow you to steer clear of embroidered products that simply do not match. It is our pleasure to have the opportunity to serve your customizing needs.

Rich,

For those of us who aren't able to get to Florida to see your C5s (or who are reluctant to drive toward Wilma), it would be really helpful if you'd post pictures of both the one piece and three piece TLCs. I'm having real trouble mentally visualizing the three piece setup. I know that yours will be significantly more expensive that the Taiwanese models ( quality always costs more), but a picture would certainly help me to decide to pull the trigger or not.

I tried the trunk liner but it wouldn't "stick." I ended up going with CrazyCowboy's (Forum Member) mirror inserts. Love them and no problem with them sticking.

Our website guy is trying to get some TLC pictures up by tomorrow. If we are lucky they will be up yet this evening. The pictures I have are too large to post on the forum. We are working on it.

BINGO! That's the secret to keeping the liner in place. The regular velcro sold at most stores won't hold up to the heat.

Rich,

Just checked out the pictures on your website and both the TLCs look great. I'll be contacting you by phone to order one. Got to figure out what logo to have embroidered on it.

CAR Motorsports offers over a dozen C5 Custom Embroidered Products which all feature the use of German Madeira Thread with a selection of over 300 Colors for you to choose. All of our Custom Products are seemlessly integrated. No piece meal items that simply do not coordinate or match with each other. The result is a "came from the factory" look.
