I bet it will look great if you're into posing. Performance is another matter though. You can count on having less traction off the line with that small of sidewall.

Plus added unsprung weight that will effect handling, negative effectives on ride quality, and they actually eat RWHP.
Leave to 20's to "Pimp My Ride" and West Coast Customs.
...oh, and they will wear out your brakes quicker!
If you race your car you would not use 19/20's anyway, rather a set of track only stocker wheels & tires, but the street is another matter. Bigger looks better!
I have 20 x 10's and 19 x 9's. I drive my car like it is on fire! I don't have a problem with handling...If this forum is so fair and against street racing or driving fast on the street then why so many posts about 20's and no traction? If you're driving around a curve or changing lanes etc. and your car is breaking loose, you my friend are breaking the law. I disagree with the loss in rwhp, it also depends on the weight of the wheel. You could put a heavy 18" wheel on and lose hp. I have a extra set of 19" with drag radials for the track. That way when I'm not posing I can get some traction! The words BLING and POSING should be banned from the forum they are to over done. BLING makes me when I hear it....Oh and wheels with SPINNERS Anyway 19" if you are worried about traction.
I know someone that lives in Las Vegas and did a two day driver school at the old Bragg-Smith school (now Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch). He used the drivers school cars, which were stock Z06's for the school. On the last day, he drove his car on the track, which was a relatively stock Z06, except for the 18"/19" HRE wheel package. He was shocked at how much better the car with the stock wheel/tire package performed on the track compared to his car. As soon as he was done with the school, he sold his wheels and tires and went back to the stock ones.
Another thing to consider if you end up going with a 19"/20" combo is that you really need to slam your car to make it look right. The lower profile tires really exaggerate any fender well gap. Slamming the car looks great, but doesn't do the best things for the handling of this car. There's quite a few T1 racers that tell me that Z06 handles best at the stock ride height.

So why does the new C6 Zo6 come with 19x12's?
Lots of new cars come with 19 or 20's as standard.
We're talking 'on the street' here, no one drives, or should be driving like they are at the track, on the street!
20x11 In Rear With 305/25/20 And 19x9.5 In Front With 265/30/19. Or Should I Go 19x10 In Front With 275/30/19.
Sounds like chit!! J/K I have 20x11 in the back with Conti sport 305/25/20. They are almost the same exact diameter as the stock Z set up. I have the 19x10 setup with the 275's in front. No rubbing, no problems.

Well since I have the combo I guess I'm qualified to answer. I picked up the stock set up and then picked up my 20" set up and could barely tell the difference between the 2. I'm sure they are heavier but it wasn't noticable to me. Now the 20" one piece set up was alot heavier. I have a stiff suspension but didn't notice any difference between the two set ups on the street. Since their are very few members on the board who race their cars around a track, what difference does it make? You put my car next to a stock Z with stock wheels and tires and you'll notice a huge difference in looks. Huge difference in looks and very small difference in handeling is a good trade off to me! Take the stock wheels and go to the track if it's that important. And PLEASE explain to me how larger wheels wear out brakes faster??????
Damn Vettethret, I was waitin for you to chime in. I totally agree with what you said since I have the same set up. The extra set or 19's for the track....Maybe we should start a poser club J/K. Nice Z
I went 18/19 combo because my brother has 19/20 on his car and the performance suffers some, my setup its as good or better than stock.
That being said, I say if thats what you want you should get it.. Its your car and your the only one that has to be happy with it.
