Default Dynatech Supermaxx Header Kit Installed and Dynoed

Got the headers installed at Next Level Performance and got the car tuned by Mike Norris. I am extremely happy, 381 RWHP. You can definitely feel the power and the car sounds great. Mike did a great job on the tune which is a very safe tune. He could have got 5 or 6 more HP but we decided to keep it kind of conservative. The guys at Next Level are awesome.

Where is this Next Level place located? I am north of Jacksonville for a few more months and am thinking about getting a set of SuperMaxx myself.

Next Level Performance in located in just east of Orlando right off I-4. It is only 131 miles from where I live in Jacksonville. Their website is:
http://www.nlperformance.com. You won't be sorry.

What year is your Z?
I have a 02 Z bolt-on mods, no headers, 375rwhp/360rwtq. If you have a 01 that's good.

What bolt on mods do you have? If you use the 15% drive line loss for a manual transmission I come up with 448.2 FWHP for me and 441 FWHP for you. I am happy with that and if you are dynoing that with boltons then I'd like to know what bolt ons. The other possibility is that you just have a very strong running LS6 Engine. My torque was a little closer to my RWHP than yours I dynoed at 381 RWHP/377RWTQ. Either way I saw some pretty good gains that I can definitely feel.

My Z is an 03 and actually that's a pretty good gain on an 02-04 Z06. If you use the standard 15% driveline loss for a MN12 a stock 405 RWHP Z would be 344.5 RWHP. If you work the formula in reverse you would have 441 FWHP and I would have 448 FWHP. My 377 RWTQ is also a lot higher with respect to HP than yours is. Not sure where you are figuring that my numbers are good for an 01 and I'd also like to know what bolt ons you have. The other option is that you got lucky and just have one of those freak engines that really puts out. Either way I can tell a huge difference driving the car and I am happy with the gains.

I have the Dynatech System and a Halltech Stinger and that's all. The tune that Mike did has a lot to do with it as well.

Very nice numbers. Mike told me that if I went with the borla stingers that they were worth another 7-10RWHP. I thought about it but I decided to stay with the Ti's. When I get my H/C upgrade I may go with the stingers then.

I haven't seen anyone get that much from just borla stingers... I always heard more like 0rwhp-3rwhp gains, But hopefully it will help you out that much.
