Check your battery for leaks....it sits right over your computer, so gravity can be a PITA. If it was at 1:00, chances are your car "reset" itself an hour prior to that (they usually reset to 12:00 I believe). There have been some people that have "electronic gremlins" on here, so I'm sure you'll get some good responses. Another culprit is grounding, but I'll let the experts talk about that....they'll be here soon!!

Definitely get your battery tested...you are long overdue for the ever popular battery failure that the Delco batteries are so well known for. More than one forum member has switched out their stock batteries after a year or two simply because they fail so frequently.
Optima seems to be the most popular replacement.

Not ghosts, gremlins! And yep, probably need to get the battery tested as a starting point...
Good luck!

Sure could be a battery problem. Have the system checked and if you need a new battery, the Optima Red Top is a good choice.

Yes...weird things happen when the battery starts to go. Odd DIC messages, strange seat/memory settings, hearing voices....
Have it checked at your local advance auto or autozone...bought an optima red top last month for $100.

Please - no more yelling - use the shift key.
If you have the original battery - run, don't walk, to the nearest Auto store and buy a new one.
Remove your existing battery, and look for any acid leak/residue on the bottom of the battery or the tray.
If there is any - get some Arm/hammer and douse the area completely.
Wash it off.
Replace battery.
Cross fingers and hope that the acid hasn't got to the electronics.
BYW - read the forum more ofter - this matter has been posted a gazillion times.

buy a spiral cell gel mat type battery... They are designed not to leak.
That is the technology used in Optima and in The Exide Orbital.
