thanks for input

no rubbing...and StuzVette is lowered on stock bolts...
...and actually toward the line of the fender just follows the line of the tire at the top so you dont get the impression that the tires are sticking out at all...

...and just so you know...handling is not an issue...
with or without active handling on....

Thanks for all the help.

if you go too fast in a turn, if your car is under steering, then you will loose front grip before the rear breaks loose.

its safer because the average driver can better handle the car if the front looses traction in a turn as opposed to the rear sliding out from under them.

on the roadcorse, you would need a bigger front

I had 17x9.5 and 18x10.5 Z06 wheels on mine and had no problems. Had stock Z06 size tires on them and they fit inside the fenders just perfect.

I ran 315's on 18 x 10.5's (rear)and 285's on 18 x 9.5's (front) handled nice on the street I never ran it on a track. 285's were flush and the 315's stuck out a little, less than a 1/4 inch I think.

I think the Z06 wheels are a perfect fit for a C5 on the street. Plus you can run them on stock C5 size wheels. Just a thought for you, that is how I am going next time around.
