My 02 Vert is my everyday car. I have 4 other vehicles, but I like the ride, so I choose to use it for everything. I clean her up 2 times a week and take extremely good care of her. 67K in 3 years. Keeping her till she is paid off and beyond. I will buy a C6 in 2 years and drive both. Share the milage then
unfortunately i am only 23 and i cant realy afford any more cars..
as it is, i need to cut down on food.. so i can fill her up with premium..
but it worth it, not only i get to drive this sweet ride everyday, i can stay thin while doing it...
at least i live in florida... no snow here..
Haha Im righ with you Bro, But im 19, in the navy and in college, lets just say i dont eat out much, and i have cerial for dinner more than once a week, but I have a great car, its worth it. But im in Pa and MD, so i guess ill be doing some walking this winter
The 2001 SL500 (25K miles) is my daily driver but I try to take the C5 (24K miles) to work 1-2 days a week. Office is only 7 miles from the house. GF drives the X5 (67K miles) daily and when we take the dog. C5 is also for the weekends. Like driving the C5 better than the SL500 and X5.
I have an 03 F-150 as my DD. I also have a Yamaha V-star 1100 for the weekends and a 79 MGB convertible. Since buying the 02 coupe, the MGB hasn't seen much road time.
I think I'm going to sell the MGB and the bass boat to make more room in the garage for the vette and the bike. I want to get a kwik-lift and can't do that with all the toys in there now.
Have a 96GT DD that I drive most of the time. If the Vette was going to be my only car, I probably would not have gotten it. It wouldn't be worth the heart break in the parking lot's of Wal-Mart where I work. My GT was hit twice, keyed and not to mention the numerous dings from carts and doors.
Mine's my daily driver. I bought it to drive it. I use look at it like this; a fine automobile is like a fine woman. I only need one, she's gonna be the best and I'm gonna urmmmm.... drive her every day!
I take my Z to work on occasion but it's pretty much a weekend driver. For every day, I drive a 95 Toyota T-100 4X4 with 200K on it and the wife drives a 02 Outback LL Bean Edition. The Vet gets the best gas mileage of all.
The company I work for furnishes me a company car, so it's a special day when I can get the 03 AE out and GO! Wife drives a paid for 97 4 Runner with 160K on it and still likes it...so I'm pretty good with that!
It really is my only car, but I am lucky enough to have access to another vehicle which I plan to use when the snow gets here. Until then, I am racking up miles and smiles! I absolutely LOVE my car.
