I really like that stripe treatment. And, personally, I like it with the plate area retaining the "background" body color like you show it. To me, it helps to prevent the eye from over-elongating the front of the car.
Man that looks awesome , great design i like the grey , however the metal brown gives a verry destinguished chique look .
Personaly I prefer the license plate open it gives an extra contrast and demension .

Correction , i misunderstood , the stripings schould go all the way down including the front spoiler , i additionaly meant not to paint the license plate holder itself
Just wondering why it would be harder to cover the plate then the top of that hood. I would think the venting on the hood would have been the nightmare. But its a pretty clean look...good job Mike
Mike - your GS stripes look very nice. My only comment would be this: If you had to run a front plate, how would the stripe fit around the plate area without the cover on the car? From your pics, I can't tell if the stripe simply goes around the plate area without going behind the cover.
Well, my stripes actually go behind the cover and bend around it so it would not be a problem to run a front plate.

For vert, it will not cover water fall. It may stop right at the weather stripping where the top sitting on it.
I will need to do more testing on for the vert.
