Default GS stripes: my version

This is the original version for C5's. I have tested and the stripes would not work if cover the whole front license plate area.

This is my version which I am pretty sure it will work since I have tested once before. I will do another test soon.
What do you think about this version compare to the original version.
Look like original version is just a straight peices. My version will flow with the hood.

Classic stripes

Classic 1 stripes

Thanks,

-Mike

Very I think it would look even better though if stripe covered the front license plate cover. Still looks awesome though.

I like it, but I think it needs to cover the plate, too.

I like it. I'm considering a stripe for mine. However, the front plate is now a Halltech intake, so your sample would work for me. One thing I'd like, is to see what the back end looks like. My car has a small spoiler that I'd like the stripe to cascade over, and (maybe) include the area on the rear that has the CORVETTE lettering. Have you ever done one like that?

I like the darker gray and it definitely should cover the plate.

Mike - your GS stripes look very nice. My only comment would be this: If you had to run a front plate, how would the stripe fit around the plate area without the cover on the car? From your pics, I can't tell if the stripe simply goes around the plate area without going behind the cover.

Really like the way your stripe tapers down as it get to the front facia.
I also think it would look better with the license plate cover the same color as the stripe.

Hi y'all!
Thanks for all great comments.
Let me try to answer couple questions first.

The stripes can cover the license plate cover but you will need to purchase a smooth license plate because of Corvette letters.

what the back end looks like? My car has a small spoiler that I'd like the stripe to cascade over, and (maybe) include the area on the rear that has the CORVETTE lettering. Have you ever done one like that?
If you can send me a picture of your rear end straight up from the top like my pictures above, I will draw the stripes for you.
My stripes will leave the rear Corvette letters out as well.
Only painting will cover all the Corvette letters.
