Default Anybody in Austin?

Hey everybody, I'm pretty new to the forum and brand new to Austin, TX (just moved from Los Angeles) and was wondering if there are any Vette' events, or groups or anything around here? Thanks.

Actually you need to get with HIGH_INTEREST, he will let you know all the activities around the Austin area......if not, you are welcome to drive to SA (40 Minutes) and meet us on Friday nights at Biff's which is located at I35 and Topperwein. Its actually a burger place and there is always 50-70 cars. Email me if you want to come down sometime (mikes99corvette@yahoo.com)
Also we go to the track often which is in Marion, Tx on I-10

There is probably 15-20 guys on the forum from the Austin area!

How about telling me where it belongs instead, so I put it in the right place the next time?

He's referring to the Regional Discussion Forums which would be the Southwest regional forum for Texas and that part of the country. This is the place you should go for posting and discussion of topics and events specific to your part of the country. Moderators will often move regional specific topics to the appropriate regional forum when they find them misplaced in the other forums.

Also, if you go to the left side of the red menu along the top of this page and click on Events then go to Calendars you will find an events calendar for each of the different regions of the country.

Lastly, the Forums Index shows all the forums that make up the Corvette Forum and the topics that are appropriate for posting and discussion in each. You can also use the Forum Jump drop down box toward the bottom of this page to move to the various forums.

Hope this helps.
