Rear View Mirror ????????
Anybody know how to take the inside rear view mirror off. Have to repair a wire that came off and the only way to get at it is when the mirror is removed. Thanks for your help.

I believe it is held on by a set screw that you unloosen with an allen wrench and then slide the mirror off of the bracket thats "glued" to the windshield.

You will need a torx bit (#10 - I think), loosen it a couple of turns, the slide the mirror upwards towards the top of the car until it slides off the windshield braket. You will need a small screwdriver (or similar), to get to the connector latch. Lift up and gently pull the wiring harness out of the mirror..
