What is "dfw," how long was the runway, and what are your mods? A stock C5 might not reach 189 mph.
Sounds like it was fun. I wish there was something like that here in California.

Maxton is a cool place...seeing the track for the first time can be somewhat "disturbing" but it feels much better than it looks.
Ive only taken my bikes out there...but you can see some great videos of maxton runs by a buddy of mine at

He holds a few 200+mph records...but with more and more bikes showing up...those records are broken on a nearly monthly basis.
Maxton is a very "humbling" place too....lots of people get on the net and claim how fast they go....only to be sorely disappointed when they get the slip at the end
