I hit 189 on a dfw side runway a few months ago, friend is one of the runway officials.

DFW is the abreviation for the Dallas Fort Worth airport.

Sounds like it was fun. I wish there was something like that here in California. Thanks for sharing.

Yea, but everything gets so dirty there. It would take me a month to clean the car up.

Maxton is a cool place...seeing the track for the first time can be somewhat "disturbing" but it feels much better than it looks.

Ive only taken my bikes out there...but you can see some great videos of maxton runs by a buddy of mine at

He holds a few 200+mph records...but with more and more bikes showing up...those records are broken on a nearly monthly basis.

Maxton is a very "humbling" place too....lots of people get on the net and claim how fast they go....only to be sorely disappointed when they get the slip at the end
