How are the 555's in the rain? Interesting PSI comment above, I use 30 cold, 33 hot in mine and yeah traction seems poor. In the wet - horrible. My current Nitto's are showing age cracks if you look closely and I'm guessing have ~ 20K on them. Hopefully replacing them with new rubber will make a big difference - but I'd like to stay with the brand...
I don't know. I don't drive in the rain. Not that the car will melt or anything like that but it's just not fun with so much HP and poor traction and the other idiots on the road in their DDs scare me. If I can't break the the law between stop lights why bother driving it?
Anyone with rain experience on the 555's? C5 Frederick are you here? This is one of the mods I need for my German move..."stoplight to stoplight"...funny.
555's are excellent in the rain. I've been caught in many a downpoor and with 400 RWHP I haven't had any hairy situations. Of course you must drive appropriately for the weather conditions but you will not be disappointed.
