away for another winter

sad day

sad day. just put my 04z06 away for the winter. probably a few weeks early, but my insurance was up for renewal, so...

anyway, my trusty old 85 will just have to pick up the slack until the first snowfall. 99650 miles - hoping to hit the 100K mark in the next week or so. this winter, i'll be gathering all the parts for a complete brake job (rotors, pads, rebuild calibers, ss brake lines, etc.) and new bearing assemblies and shocks for the 85.

I only put up the lawn chair covers for winter. I will never live north again.

Nope, not yet. They haven't started salting the roads yet, and the temps are still in the 50's and 60's, so I'll still drive her. Heck, the leaves just started coming off the trees yesterday.

I drive mine as long as there's no snow or rain, salt on the roads, & temps above 32*.

Put mine away for 3 months

.....If we get any days without rain or snow, I'll unwrap her and drive her....Only good thing about winter is dusting off the snowmobiles...And running 90 MPH across the snow
