I have had both a Wolf (Noah fabric?) cover for my C4 and a Covercraft "Block-it" for my C5. Both are very satisfactory but I think I liked the Wolf better. MTCW
The most important thing about using a car cover is to make SURE the car is clean right before you put the cover on. Dragging a cover (it can't be helped) across a car that has fine dust (read that tiny particles of sand) on it will cause scratches in the finish. These scratches will build up over time.
my cover is soft on the underside , like a gym or workout sweater ... i fold it a certain way and then place it on the rear glass each time, and unfold it in the reverse order - no dragging as a result (or very little) -- works for me
Thanks for the several responses to my question about preference on a car cover for a C5 in the garage. I have another question about cleaning the dust off the car. I use a California duster but it leaves streaks on the paint, targa top and glass. I have had the duster for approximately 1.5 years and use it frequently. The instructions say that the streaking will stop after a few uses. Mine is dirty from use but still streaks. Should I wash the duster in a mild soap solution to clean the wax out of it? Is there a different type of treatment that can be applied to the duster that does not leave behind streaks?

Maybe you're pressing down too hard?
Mine works fine, and it's 6 months old.
I mentioned above that I have this Wolf Noah C5 cover
I only used it a couple of times in the garage, it's really an outdoor cover.
I have it stored in a plastic bag.
If one of my Corvette C5 buddies could use it, you can have it for the cost of the shipping, I'll send it too you.
I got it from West Coast Corvettes, and I think it was around $175
