Where does the front plate go?? 
Seriously I never had a front plate on my '86 until last year when a meter man ticketed me. He first ticked off "overtime parking" realised he was wrong but had written the ticket he then searched and found no front plate. I did have it on the dash. I was able to get off and not pay any fine by going to court. But I mounted the plate.
I'm not sure if I'll put one on my FRC.

I've always been curious about the front plate issue - why is one even needed? Anyone ever ask after being pulled over?
I would think when you get pulled over they are always looking at the rear plate..

Plate? What plate?
I honestly check out all Vetts when they pass and I've seen it 50/50 here in NJ as far as having one. I myself...No plate and have never been hasseled. I also understand that Jersey will be doing away with the front plate in about a year as a cost saving measure. What the heck...a cop pulls you over from the rear and checks your plate. Never seen one follow you from the front!
Same here in Ky, we don't need no stinkin plate.
