Default Thinking about ditching exhaust plate...

I'm not really digging the exhaust plate anymore. Sometimes it looks alright, sometimes it doesn't. Get real close, and it looks like a piece of crap.

Thoughts about exhaust plates?

Has anyone done anything else cool with that area between the pipes, other than an exhaust plate? If so, let's see it.

Get rid of it, but you should know that my gaudy threshold is very low; I don't like a lot of additions.

So I shouldn't replace it with a chrome propeller?

EDIT: How about truk-nutz?

I like mine; don't think it's gaudy, but then again I don't have to look at it ... only Mustangs do.

See, that's where I am conflicted. At times, I think the plate looks cheesy.

You should see if some artist can paint something simple on it. I love my exhaust plate.

:

I was thinking more something like a flag, or even the same color as the car, with maybe a C5 emblem on it or something... it just begs for something when it's bare!

I agree the area looks bare. I just put on dual tip Borlas...now I have extra space if the plate goes. I suppose the plate or some variation of the same is the best option. I would like to see something unique if it's out there.

I like mine, without it allot of people tell me its missing something. You might want to go with a black exhaust plate with the corvette flag so that its not that bling.
