I have had my Kwik Lift for about 8 months. Love it. It's great for the purposes I need. Oil change, minor repairs, cleaning etc. I am planning on headers this winter, should not be a problem.
Ya know, you guys are costing me an arm and a leg! First I bought the Vette, then did over my garage, now I'm buying a Kwik Lift, where will it end????

djroberts,
The kwiklift is a very nice lift! You can't beat it for the money. It allows unobstructed access to underneath the vehicle, unlike most low and mid-rise lifts. Those types of lifts do make it easier to get the wheels off but they do not offer the unobstructed access underneath that the kwiklift does. With the centerbridge you can jack up the car and place blocks/stands at the pucks so the tires will raise off of the ramps and can be removed.

Here's some more pics. Notice the casters, they make the lift very portable without breaking it down.
? how do you get the wheels under the lift before or after car is on it , can't make up my mind as to kwik lift or 4 post , i do like the idea of haveing my vert on the lift and being able to roll it off to the side and leaving it on the lift . to make it more portable in the winter time . i have a 40 x 60 garage so i i could move it from side to side .

Do the 4 post Oaks... I just ordered mine this week and it will be awesome!! You're not that far from the Superlift guy in Aurora, MO and Tony he is way cool to deal with.
I have to say there is not that much difference between many of the lifts... It came done to who I was dealing with as much as anything.
It's about twice what a Kwiklift is but you get more than twice the value.... for me, it was mainly about parking. Ease of working on ANY vehicle now is the BONUS!!

When the lift is up it the horizontal position you lift each corner with a floorjack to raise one leg at a time and slide the caster under, lower and move on to the next corner until you're done. Then it's ready to move around by itself or with a vehicle.
With the kwiklift you do not have the storage/parking capability that you have with a 4 post lift but they are not as portable either. Some of the 4 posts lifts are available with casters but they are much heavier and you also have the height to consider. Both types of lifts are good for their uses, it just depends on how you intend to use it the most.
I decided on the kwik-lift also, but mostly because of height restrictions.
If you have no issue with ceiling height and can use a four post for parking also,by all means that's a great lift.
As for me,you can add me to the list. The kwik-lift gets 'er done
