I can't comment on the use of Oxyclean but I can suggest this. I have a 2004 CE convertible with Shale carpet. When I got the car, there were some stains in the passenger carpet, some of them quite yellow. I took some hydrogen peroxide (get it at any drug store, it is used as a disinfectant) and wiped it liberally over the stains (I pretty much soaked the stained parts of the carpet). After about 24 hours, the stains faded completely out. I can't comment on how this affects the long-term durability of the carpet, but where you already have a problem, I think that it might be worth a try. Just try it in a small spot if you want to test it. In my own experience I was pretty amazed. The carpet looked completely new afterwad. I had already tried various stain removers, including Oxyclean (which didn't do much). Anyway, I hope it works for you. Note it takes overnight; just leave the carpet wet with hydrogen peroxide for it to work.
Of course, the alternative is to take the car into a good detailer and see what they can do. Best of luck.

Very good information. May I suggest that you change the thread title to something like "Beware Shale Interior Owners". Some of us with CE's need to read this also.
Jesus, haven't you ever seen those commercials? It turns water with red dye in it to clear in about 2 seconds. What did you think would happen? That's like saying don't put your finger in a mouse trap, it snaps at you.

"Resolve" works well on light carpet. I use it in the house and the cars. I've never had it take out colour, only the stains. You can buy it an most grocery stores.
