Griot's Interior Cleaner does a great job on dirty carpet.

WOW! I've used regular oxyclean to clean carpets in my vehicles for years and no problems. But I won't on my C5.

thanks for heads up.

Thanks for the warning. My daughter used some oxy-clean on a spot on the rug in her room and it took out some color.

I have had mixed results with Resolve. I used relsolve on the light gray carpet of my house. The carpet came out looking great when I was done, but a day or 2 later, the carpet turned color to a yellowish gold.

Since then, I have found Tuff Stuff cleaner and have not had any problems ever.

I spot cleaned the drivers side shale colored carpet with resolve and experenced the same yellow staining.
I was able to remove the yellow stain with a damp terry towel and a steam iron. Worth a try!

Stanley Steemer sells a good spot remover. Never used it on the vette yet, but it works wonders when the dog has an accident on the living room carpet!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about that.
I use Folex and have had excellent results. I buy it from Home depot and I think Safeway also stocks it.
