Default To those with CCW Classics....

When I get my C5, I'm thinking of picking these up. Is the website the only place I get them? How long is the wait? Price? And what sizes would you guys recommend? I'm planning on lowering the C5 coupe on stock bolts.

PS, it will be driven more than tracked. I saw some pictues with 17". I kinda like the meaty tire look on them. Suggestions?

I have three sets of CCW Classics. One set of Classic streets and two sets of Classic track.

The Classic streets are polished, 18x10 1/2 front and 18 x 12 rear
tires are Mich PS 18x275/35f and 18x335/30r

The Classic track sets are black centers 18x12 f and 18x13 rear

Tires very but currently Hoosier VRL 18x305/30 f and 18x335/30 r

Yes the best place and price is direct from CCW. Call them John or Chip will be glad to help you out.

Thanks AU N EGL! You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of your car, would you? And what's the main difference between street and track?

Which would you recommend for me as a daily driver?

Other question, with your tire widths, do they rub at all? Is your car lowered? Thanks again!

Daily driver?? Classic street. has the center cap.

Differences, classic track are 2 lbs lighter per wheel, which sounds nice but not for street use. Track are drilled out

Do the tires rub ?? Not any more they did but have rubbed out the inner wheel well.

Wow! Those look great! Thanks for the info. I can't wait to get a set. Heck, I can't wait to get my C5! BTW, why are the streets more expensive than the tracks? The only difference I can see is the center cap, but the price difference is quite a bit.

Didn't you say the tracks were lighter too (drilled out)? Wouldn't that be more work?

I have a set on mine too. The only problem is the width for the front is off. The edge of my wheel lip is flush with the side wall of the front tire. I would ask for the wheel to be 1/2" narower on the front then what they sell.

The rest looks awesome. the 335's on the rear will squeek a bit as they hit the plastic wheel wells, but that will settle down as they wear in a bit and it only happens on a hard launch or full jounce.

Thanks for the input. What wheel size do you have? I'm thinking of getting 17x10 upfront and 17x12 out back. do those sound reasonable? Do they have propper offsets for these sizes? Thanks again!

Oh, and general question. How long did it take for you folks to get your orders once placed at ccw.com?

I'm pretty sure mine are the 18 x 10 and 18 x 12 on back. If you are gonna go with 17's I would still see if they can make them only 9.5" for the front. My 275's on the front sit even with the rim edge. The rears rim sits inside the tire wall like it should. Looks good.

The offsets seem good. The fronts have never rubbed. The back will a bit, you're really squeezing them on if you go with the 335's.

If I remember right, it took about 3 weeks for mine. I think they had a backup at the Annodizer though, so you'd probably get them quicker.

Look up the tire you're gonna get online and see what rim width they reccomend for that brand, size and model tire.

Oh man...I can't wait. Thanks for the replies everyone! And 3 weeks is nothing! I'm used to waiting 3-4 months for wheels from Japan (NSX)

Those wheels look nice. Thanks for the link to CCW. Going to have to look at what they have to offer for my car.

More work? naaa it is all CNC machined.

The streets are with center caps and TPS I do believe.

Ask for the steel insert for the lug holes. Keeps the aluminum from waring out.
