corvettes at carlisle
I have never been to corvettes at carlisle and making plans to go next year. Would anyone have phone numbers and suggestions on where to stay. I figure i might be able to get a room this early. Thanks

Call the chamber of comerence, or better yet go on Carlisles offical website they have links. The earlier the better as the closer ones are taken now (year to year people)

It is difficult to get a motel near the show. Don't be afraid to do some hotel searches in the surrounding areas though. There are some great "Corvetting" back roads with lots of twisties and hills around there! If you are there on Sunday they give away a Corvette to some lucky ticket holder.

You can use any search you want. I used Priceline and entered in Carlisle as the city. You will probably not be spending much time in your room; so it doesn't reall mater how nice it is. Clean and safe are really all you are looking for and you can get a pretty good idea of that from the price/name of the place.
Be sure to get there Friday if you actually want to get to talk to any of the big vendors. On the weekend they are absolutely swamped.

wait till you see carlisle; there will be more corvettes in one place than you have ever seen in your life. perhaps get on hotels dot com & just do a search for carlisle pa. surrounding towns that are not far include but are not limited to: mechanicsburg, harrisburg, new cumberland, shippensburg, & more. you shouldn't have a problem. bub

I posted a thread about hotels that were at the Harrisburg-West exit of the PA Turnpike. This a great location with lots of hotels and restaurants that are in walking distance of the hotels and 20 mins from the show. CHECK THE THREAD
