Do the A&A frame savers need to be welded on?

Thanks for everyones intput. I guess I just wont really wory about it. It seems to still be structuraly stiff, I just did not like the way it looked. Where would I purchase a new one if I wanted to replace it???? Would it be hard to replace?

Other than looking really bad, your car should be OK. At some point, you may want to consider replacing the piece and then getting the rollers from Andy at A&A.

Default Frame Savers

I really need a pair of those frame savers, I have my 01 vert lowered about 3/4 of an inch and those would be perfect. I've looked on line at several vette part houses and the don't list them as frame savers....Are they called something else?

Thanks

Go to this link: A&A Corvette

Look at the bottom of the page. I have both the frame savers and the rocker rails. They were developed by Andy at A&A, and are a must have.

stupid question. From looking at the A&A installation photos, it seems that the top of the frame saver is resting on the bottom of the plastic nose. Won't this crack the nose piece once you hit something?

Every time I hit the submit reply button, I got an invalid link message, so I kept trying. Apparently, they all got posted, but I deleted the dupes.
