PS: Slush boxes suck

looks good EG if you're still on for sat, I'd still like to join you.
if you are finishing up any mods let me know & maybe I'll try to get over a little earlier to lend a hand.

nice work dude
by the way, how much did the transmission upgrade part of the mod cost - parts & labour?
got your old one still? although that may be like asking to borrow someone's j-strap, given your propensity for rapid accelleration

Chris gave me a special package deal so my costs may not be indicative of a separate installation cost of just the transmission.
EG
p.s. and the old transmission is sold.

All Hail England Queen!
err I mean..Sweet mod Stephen...i'd be willing to bet you lost more than a few RWHP....time for some new power! Find any new places for a Type R sticker...maybe that should get you back up to par!
So how do you like the 3.9's with the 4speed? Does it feel as fast as when you just added the cam?
Chris

Very very nice Stephen. It's apparent you, like me, really appreciate quality work and workmanship!
I do have a question about the LG torque tube mods with aluminum couplers. Have you noticed any significant drive-line noise issues on your drive home? This mod is on my list for future work, and it would be nice to get some feedback from someone who drives their Vette on the street as opposed to someone who has this mod but may only drive theirs at the track.

I tached at 2100rpm at 65 and 2700rpm at 80mph in 4th gear. That is very acceptable to me and I have no regrets. Just wished I went with 4.10:1 now

Stephen,
You put the in Mod.
I hope you don't get the East Lyme Leo's hanging out on 161. I'll have to use a different route to get to work.

Congrats on your new setup. They are mods that will work with greater power over time. Can't beat the ECS shop for the quality of work that goes into your car. You will be back. I think that I can say my cars have spent more time on the lift at ECS than anybody else. Heck I just get to visit them. Doug has all the fun of driving them.
Seriously, I will be getting Blue back to drive tomorrow & can't wait to see it run with the NOVI like Silas has. From Doug's account in driving Silas' car I won't be dissappointed.
Again congrats on some great mods.

Just as I was leaving, Doug fired up your Blue Beast and drove it into the bay my car was in. It sounds awesome! The Novi is very quiet - the usual blower whine was not apparent. Over the 2 days I was there, I watched Doug complete your car - and all I keep thinking was
