c5 z06 possible alignment problem
well guys and gals,
i notice that this car will go wherever it likes on it's own from time to time. especially when i brake. it seems as if the pads are worn evenly and doesn't seem like one side grabs harder then the others. i notice that on the highway sometimes it will also go where it wants unless i really hold the steering wheel tight.
is this normal on these cars or should i go get it aligned?

Not normal.
Sounds like you have a caster and/or toe problem.
It happens, especially if you track your car or run rough roads, or if you lowered it by yourself without getting an alignment.
I'd get to an alignment shop if I were you.

Mine was doing exactly the same thing, but just alot worse after I lowered my car. When I took the car in for alignment, the guy told me that my rear tires were like \ \ instead of l l 
The toe was way off, and so was the caster.

Rember that roads are crowned to allow rain water to drain off. So cars naturally pull to the right if there is a perfect alignment.
Go find a realtivly flat parking lot and do a few brake tests.
Getting your alignment checked is a good idea.
front
-.8* to -1.5* camber
6* caster and equal on both sides
1/16 to 1/8 toe out
rear
-.5* to -1* caster
1/16 to 1/8 toe in

A grooved road will do this, I seem to notice it at intersections that have alot of truck traffic, mine seems to pull from time to time in these areas but on the highway/smooth roads its fine.
