relatively easy....
(try to get the tank as empty as possible)
Disconnect all the fuel lines and pull the fuel pump plug
Remove the inner fenderwell and disconnect the hose going to the filler
Remove the clamp that connects the two tanks (kinda overtop of the suspension)
Remove all the bolts from the cover (the cover is kinda glued on the tank),
The tank should be able to come out at this point - the car has to be pretty high in the rear.
I have only done this once - and actually unbolted the tank first then the clamps - not sure if it would be better to do it the other way around.
