I bought this cover from Eckler's about 7 months ago... and up until the middle of October, it's been wonderful.
Lately, however, the interior "fuzzy" fabric of the cover has been deteriorating to the point that any time it rains, it coats all of the horizontal surfaces of the vette with an embrassing grey fuzz. I've cleaned the cover a couple times recently to try to get rid of all the excess fuzz, but that hasn't worked. It also has gotten several holes in it around the seams and in a few other places in the last couple weeks alone
This is the first car cover I've ever owned, so I'm guessing this is probably a fluke? Has anyone had similar experiences?
Although I have not bought a car cover yet, I would call Eckler's to see what is going on. Most of these catelog places pride themselves in customer satisfaction. You may be able to trade the one you have for a different brand.
Good luck and let us know what happens. I will be buying one in the near future.
I have an Evolution 4 Cover that I've owned going on 3 years now and I've not had any of the problems you mention. However, with few exceptions, mine has always been used indoors for dust and ding protection. Kimberly-Clark Corp manufactures the Evolution 4 cover fabric. You might want to write or call their customer service and see what they suggest. You can find an E-mail address for their customer service under the Contact Us tab (top right) at the following link: Kimberly-Clark Car Cover Fabrics
I believe that cover has a lifetime warranty. Give the manufacturer a call and I'm sure that with proof of purchase, you'll have a new cover in no time.

4-Year Warranty on the Evolution according to the Wolf web site:
They certainly do. I had mine for three years and called the manufacturer regarding a similar issue. The cover was replaced ASAP under warranty (4 year warranty). And, I did not have to even send them back the old cover. Therefore, give them a call right away.
