Wheel Paint?

Is dupli-color gm 435 for all years of Z's. I have a 04. Thanks

I used it on my 03. There is no other color. It's slightly darker then your wheels. They match the 01 wheels but good enough for 02-04

I tried dupli-color 435 on my 03' wheels and it does not match. It would be ok for touch ups on wheels for track use or a daily driver. It best matches the color on 01' wheels and some early 02's that were fitted with 01' wheels.

It's got to be better than bare aluminum exposed.

You can get the matching color at http://www.automotivetouchup.com. I have 02 Z06 and the color match is exact. You will need to also order the clear coat as well.

It's darker all right, I just poured out 1/3 of the bottle and added some bright silver to lighten it up.

Unfortunately, the GM435 paint code was developed for the '01 wheels which are darker than the '02, '03 & '04 wheels. They never updated the paint color for the later model years. I had mine custom mixed at www.paintscratch.com and they came pretty close for my '03.
