Too Freakin Funny
I just bought my first Vette, 04' triple black conv by the way, and a funny thing happened. I actually bough it on EBAY and the whole thing went quite well actually. Anyway, about a month after having it, I went into start it and the computer freaks out. It started flashing reduce engine power etc. Now after reading everything I could and findinding this site with all you mad genious Corvette owners, I came to the conlusion that it wasn't much probably and had it towed into the dealer. Turns out, a family of mice made a nice little home up under some housing by the engine and evedently had their young teething on some of my wires. $360 worth of teething. I can't figure out if they came with the car as an accessory or if my house has freakin mice!! Anyway, I'll keep you posted of the current events surrounding the 9 million mice traps I have around the house and garage now!

honey, I have to take the Vette out and de-rat it.

Seriously, sorry you had the problem of rodent infestation. Out here in the west, some mice carry some bad diseases so be careful handling the dead ones.
