Vette purchase delayed....

Well, Before I buy the vette, I want to get a warranty on the 2001 for 4 years / 100K miles, and warranty direct wants a third party inspector to check it out first. Pretty standard. So, I called the third party they told me to, magoos.net, and submited the inspection request. They tell me that they have contracts with (yet another party (the 4th party)). I was told that inspections are supposed to be done in less than 24 hours. I get an email late today telling me that the inpector didn't get to it today, and will be getting in touch with the salesman at the dealership tommorow... I wrote back saying, "The number for the salesman I gave you, he isn't working tommorow... Heres two others... Please acknowledge".... No reply.
So,when he calls, he will not get ahold of the sales guy tommorow and probably blow it off till monday... (they dont do weekend inspections).
Meanwhile... I paid the dealership a deposit to take it off the market for 3 days.... and the third day is tommorow.
I'm not blaming anyone... I'm just a little annoyed.
If it's supposed to be done within 24 hours... do it... Or dont advertise it. Reminds me of the 1 hour photo... drop it off and the guy says... it'll be ready in 4 hours.
I'm trying to be patient.

Hope the purchase comes together for you. I bought my warranty from them and they used the same company. The guy didn't come out in 24 hours, but did a very professional inspection of the car and the rest of the transaction went smoothly.

Hmmm, that's two for no-show, like advertised. So far, I'm still fairly optimistic.
Hope it's not a kid doing the inspection/test drive.

AND... Yet 'another' 24 hours goes by and still no inspection. No response from magoo.net after two emails. The car goes back on sale today becuase they can't hold it more than 72 hours after recieving the deposit. Lovely bunch.

It doesn't appear the dealership is bending over backwards to help you either. You would think they would know that your caught in the middle and cut you a little slack.
