12-Disc CD Changer Question...

So, I open my middle compartment tonight and see a 12 disc changer that I never knew existed before (long story)... So I put a very clean (new) CD in slot one, get in the car, press the CD/AUX button.. It says, "CD 1 - Track 0" for about 15 seconds, then says "Err", then goes to the radio.
Any ideas?

Err.. it's broke.. just like mine!!

Ok, sorry.. look up "CD changer" in the advanced search mode (several posts there...) but a quick and easy possible fix is to unplug the Changer for a bit, then plug it in again and see what you get...

Sometimes loading and unloading the magazine helps with this too... Good luck!!

Solved... dont laugh, but you have to be sure to put the label's, FACE DOWN.

Now I gotta go find some CD's to load in it...

That was my guess. Now load that puppy up and put it on "random play" and enjoy.

For the future, if you look closely at the tray you put the CD in, it tells you which way to place the CD on the tray before you put it in the cartridge.

Don't feel so bad, I figured this out the hard way too...
