When you install a Wheelskin cover ... do you put it on over the old leather cover, or do you remove the existing one?
Don't need one for the Vette, but the cover in my Mazda truck is in BAD need of replacing. The previous owner was rough on it!

These have a wax like coated string that is threaded through with a needle. The wax type substance on there prevents the string from loosening while you are going through the next hole. The instructions are very good. Also, if you go to Wheelskins.com you can order samples and see how the different colors look in your ride.

The cover looks very good - certainly an alternative to the more expensive steering wheel replacement.
