For about the same price, you do get much more with the Halltech Stinger, which includes a larger than stock airbridge and smooth TB coupler. And yes, there is a seat-of-the-pants power increase to be had with either. I gained over 12 RWHP with the Halltech and Borla Stinger cat-back exhaust.

Things I read around here on Stinger vs Blackwing (and leaving Vararam out of it):

1. The stock airbridge is more than adequate to feed normally aspirated motor thus no real advantage to getting airbridge w/ Stinger. Some folks have mentioned clearance problems/rubbing on hood liner w/ Stinger (airbridge), some haven't though.

2. Blackwing has very good reputation for filtering qualities.

Based on that, I went w/ Blackwing but that's just one persons opinion and I usually have no idea what I'm talking about anyway. Any SOTP difference? I'd like to think so but you know how that goes.

Never dyno'd w/ Blackwing vs previous set-up of Z06 airbox & stock paper filter but I didn't really pick up much MPH in 1/4 between the two, maybe 1/2 mph but that's all very unscientific.

Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with either set up. Myself I have the Stinger, but I am pretty sure that the BW is comparable.

I doubt you would notice any difference in one vs the other.

stinger here...but dont think there's much of a difference

the fact that blackwings are cleanable are really irrelevant because the size of the filter is such that by the time you clean it will be time to replace it IMO.

I vote for the Hurricane. Cold air in without the chance of hydro-lock.

What more could you ask for.

LPE has them on sale.

Just my 0.20 cents but you don't need the power duct, the distributors say that there is only an increase of 1 hp extra. I would just get the blackwing filter or the halltech stinger filter only, unless you want the power duct for looks.
