Default Exhaust

I want a deep throaty exhaust note, quiet with no annoying interior noise, just muscle sound, and great sounding full throttle growl. I was thinking B&B, but I wanna hear all the diff kinds on stock motors. Anywhere you know I can go?

Default I'm in the same boat

Hey Justin,

I'm in the same boat you are in. I think I will be going to Corsa Pace system. I have a stock engine and looking for the same thing. Try this site and look at the C5 exhaust comparisons. It should help or make you even more confused. Try to listen to some systems on other Vettes. I went to the local Corvette Club meeting and listened to alot of them.

Good Luck

You are wise in wanting to listen to various exhaust first hand. Everyone's likes and dislikes are different and hearing them first hand is the best way to find those you like. Try some of the car show in your area. Some of the vendors along with the attendees may have exhaust you can listen too. Also, seek out the members of local Corvette clubs in your area as they may have some of the exhausts that you are interested in and that you can listen to. Good luck.

Here is a vid of my GHL Magnums:
GHL Video

Video never does any justice.. you need to hear them in person. I am fortunate to live in the Orlando area and our crew has every exhaust made. B&B Bullets are my favorite but the GHL's are a close second. I may find that I like the Magnums more when I get my LTs at the end of the month. The GHLs are probably quieter on the inside of the car and the are less expensive

I was thankful to hear both a B&B and Corsa on stock C5's in the same day. I had heard Borla Stingers already and those were the only other 2 I was considering. I choosed the Borla but I dont think it matches your criteria. The Corsa might be right up your alley. IF not the Pace car then definately the Touring. But, If you can find one, the Titanium Z06 exhaust has EXACTLY what you're looking for. Whisper quiet till you mash the gas.

There's no comparison to hearing them for yourself though. Even at the same sound levels certain exhausts will just sound better to you then others. See if you have a local vette shop or a local weekly gathering. Those are the best places to hear.

I always get comments on how nice my Magnaflows sound. Of course they are backed up by LGM headers, but even before that they got a lot of compliments.

I friend of mine has the Corsa Pace Car with the X pipe on his 99 and they sound good when you get on it but don't notice them at highway speeds. I have stock on my 01 and Borlas on my 92. I think Borlas have the best sound but they do wear on you during a longer trip. Just my 2 cents.
