Hmmmmmm well, I'm only a janitor at WalMart but it looks to me that this jack will work unless you are trying to lift the car on a sheet of ice. I see a lever, fulcrum, a way of moving the lever, a base that is somewhat stable if on a decent level surface....

Ok, OK... you got me... I'm really a janitor at BMW in South Carolina... but only part-time...

PS, no offense to any janitors, OK?

I wrote a POST on this awhile back and it got a lot of interest bringing positive and neg. comments..out come is that this jack works perfectly with safety in mind. The base of this jack is SOLID. It lifts the car fast and smooth, you can stand off to the side while lifting the car and keep an eye on traffic if need be. As you stated it fits under the car without any problems.
Here is a picture of it.

I need to know as well, will the MB jack fit under lowered vettes also without having to drive up on blocks?

Just thinking out loud, but if you open the door to keep it from cracking......What is going to take the stress? It seems that if the door is closed the car will be more rigid than with them open?

Hi, this is C5 Frederik, seller of the "Little Lifter"

lowest hight is 80mm or 3.15 "
It is still $50.00 including shipping.
It´s from the actual E-class (not C-class, as this takes a lower load)

It is perfect to change one wheel, i.e. on emergency or on the track.
It is not to be used to lift complete side of car i.e. to do work on swaybars.

It fits perfect in one of the two small rear compartments.
There are more than 360 happy customers, and there is one unhappy one (forgot his name, he had problems to handle it)

If there are any questions, please ask.
Frederik

My lug wrench was stored at Kragen Auto Parts. I've started keeping it in the car for convenience. I got one of the extendable lug wrench's for $12.95, Very compact.

GM didn't include one in the models with runflats, don't know about the Z06's.

Default jack

Just about any little scissor jack will work. I bought one at a yard sale. It goes lower then 2” and cost $1.00. You might want to use a puck or a little steal plate between the jack and frame to keep from denting the frame.

If you're carrying a plug kit and a compressor, why do you even need a jack?

After seeing some of the damage caused by faulty plugs in the parts business many moons ago, I would recommend just using the run flats to get someplace where the tire can be properly patched from the inside or replaced. If you don't have run flats, a plug is good for a few miles at lower speeds. Just don't rely on them as a permanent fix because have a tendency to wear out and remove themselves. If you ask most service/ parts shops, they will sell a plug kit but will not install a plug.

The jack would be nice for those days in the garage when I want to get in there and clean all that god-forsaken brake dust off the inside of the rims
