Well, it's only been less than 2 months and I miss my vette. I've been giving alot of thought to another one and I know how I am.... once it's in my mind, it won't stop until it's done.
Though I won't be rejoining the C5 generation, I have pretty well made up my mind to buy a black Z06 C6. I wanted to order it so the pick up at the museum would coincide with the forum cruise-in.
Unfortunately, I didn't realize that the cruise-in was that early. I thought it was later in the year and I just won't be financially ready to do it that early.
Soooo, perhaps the year after.
On the bright side, at least I'll be back at the bestest forum on the internet.

Glad that you're planning on rejoing the fold - but you're going over to the Darkside......C6 land. I suppose you won't wave to those lesser lifeforms, like C5 owners, either!
Just kidding! When you tire of 505hp and 0-60 in 3.4 seconds, just send it over to me. Oh yeah, you're gonna get real tired of 1.0g cornering too. And probably the Nav and XM radio......

I will NEVER stop waving at fellow vette owners. It's unfortunate that some driver's don't get/understand the culture of owning America's best Hotrod and classics.
Do ya think I can still hang out in C5 general when I buy a C6?

It doesn't appear that you ever left.
Mark, you outta be planning for the Cruise-In, Vette or not.
Tell ya what, you can drive my car that week, since I hear I'm the designated driver of Z06-Jim's car.
Jim can drive Gary's car, and Gary can drive Chris's car.
And Chris can pilot the H2 if you can somehow dress it up to look like the weinermobile, since he's into that sorta stuff.
