I just wanted to say hello to everyone in the forum. I just closed the deal on a '99 C5 - Black on Black, 6 spd Coupe...I've been a Ford guy who's only had Mustangs ('68 Fastback & '97 GT Convt). Was deliberating on buying a '69 Mach 1 to restore but one of my buddies at work suggested checking out a C5. I took one for a test drive and couldn't get the smile on my face...I may have switched to the "Dark-side" but it was one hell of a ride. Can't wait to pick up the car in less than two weeks!!

I'll admit I'm pretty new to forum worlds but I'm anxious to learn a lot, and very excited about the new toy!!!
First question: I got a '99 Black on Black coupe, 6 spd, HUD, active handling, 12 Disk and 43k for $20,500...good deal?
(I had it inspected, spoke with the Chevy dealership before buying and everything is in great condition)
I'll be flying out to Akron, OH from Boston on the 21st to drive it back to NJ, where I'll be moving just before Christmas...Hopefully I'll miss a snow storm
