Z's been put away for only 3 weeks, I want to drive it but with
salt and gravel on the street. My Mazda 2500 p/u runs great, tuned it up too. and it spins the tires, it has a stick but it's just not the same
I feel for ya man.... I would miss my Z big time if I had to store it away... We don'tget much ice/snow here... but there are times I have to use the beater... Always makes me appreciate the Z.. Hang in there... stay warm!

I took a walk to the darkside last night. Tiptoed it out of my street and drove it around a bit. The main roads weren't too bad, but my neighborhood is all gravel Those hot goodyear tires made me cringe when all the sand was tinking on to the paint!
Felt good to have that power rush again! I got it sideways in third a few times hehe.
I can relate I put my Z away last week and have been driving a neon since. It has given me mod fevor so I will be taking the z to texas for a head and cam install soon.

Hang in there.
i grabbed the door to go, and remembered the snow 4 inches deep behind the garage, with a 50' gravel drive. I woke up. :o
I had a tough time doing it, but I had to drive it.
My driveway is on an incline and the last time we had snow, it rained, then turned back to snow. You guessed it, right where I pull the car in is a sheet of ice! I was able to baby it back in to the garage though it was close to the garage wall when it lost traction for a split second! Needless to say, I chopped up all of the ice and removed it in case I want to take it out again.
I wish I could drive this car year round! It is a blast to drive.

Though I love my "winter beater," a 1991 BMW 850i with 64k. Just bought snow tires for it off the 'Bay as well!
