Default 97 models alarms

Anyone know of a software package to get rid of alarms on the 97 models? Alarms such as tire pressure, etc.

Well, a completely different question than is normally posted on the Forum, but I'll attempt to answer your question.

There is NO software 'program' to eliminate alarms.

A LS1 edit (done by a competent technician, or even the stealership, can eliminate (deactivate) certain functions such as TMS.

Now, to the questions that will be bothering many reading your post: what is it that you want to do, and why?

If the TMS is causing codes (DIC display, etc.), why is it?

Are the tire monitors removed? If so, why?

Are the tire monitors 'dead'? Why not get replacements.

Many questions, need answers

On my '97 I removed the tire pressure monitors from my daily driver wheels and all I do is hit the "reset" button to remove the message from the DIC.

ive heard that on the early C5's theres no way to reprogram to get rid of messages, reset will have to be pushed each time. the later ones u can override the sensor stuff all together but not us early guys.

The ability to turn off the sensors came in with the '01 model year in conjuction with the introduction of the Z06 which has no sensors. There is no way to do it on the older cars.
