BUT then again, the really best way around this is to toss the CAGS Eliminator in the trash and just drive the car like a Corvette should be drivien, and that means no shifting at 1200 RPM's....

Do you own an A4 ?

You haven't been on this Forum long enough to make an idiotic comment like that Glenn's a long standing member with literally thousands of helpful posts for others. It's obvious that you haven't bothered to read any of them.

As far as the Forum being for learning you're correct...but if the original poster wanted to really learn a LOT about the CAGS system for the six-speed he would've done a search. That's what it's for and there are dozens of posts regarding his question so he would've got many more responses and information. The first thing he'd notice is that he not asking a question regarding a "CAGS install" but rather a "CAGS eliminator install". It's amazing how many folks think they're talking about one thing when they're actually talking about the exact opposite.

How long to you have to be on here to make a comment idiotic or otherwise? So someone who has been here 4 years can write 4 times as many idiotic posts as the newbies?

I've only been here 6 months, but I understood what "CAGS install" meant. I did not initially understand the search function, though. It's not all that intuitive.

Lighten up!

Thanks, I thought I was the only one here who thinks that just because someone's an "upstanding member" doesn't give anyone the right to disrespect others in a condescending manner.

Newbie or not, people should show some respect. I knew what the guy was talking about as well.

Spoken like the true newbs you both are...backing each other up and neither of you get the point. Maybe when you've been around a few years and have five or six thousand posts you'll understand. Until then...

NOPE, just disconnect and re-connect the C.A.G.S. eliminator.

In my experience, people who brag about how long they've been doing something, have merely been doing it wrong longer.

Just confirms that every good thing always has its *******.

Good luck basing your self worth to a community off of a number. I would much rather show my value through class and respect for other members, but if post count is what you have to resort to, sorry guy. Everyone was new once, it's just the clowns that try to belittle everyone else to feel bigger that show that there's no due respect for duration of membership. Some people are just looking for a pass that lets them yap off at everyone.
