i have kooks and really like them.
in my experience with coated headers on f-bodys, the coating will always peel and pit at the collector. my trans am was almost never driven in rain and my jet hot long tubes looked like crap when i took them off the car. they tell you they will recoat them for free, if you pack them up and send them and pay for shipping back home.
i would get stainless, theres lots of good brands out there.
