Battery

My battery is good in my Z-06 but my 2nd pick-up is dead.So I am replacing the Z-06 battery and moving it to the 79 pick-up for they take the same battery size.
I was figuring a Interstate for the zo-6 but after looking at the Z-06 battery it says glass mat non spillable on it. Interstates are lead acid vented Don't like the look of the Optima.

There have been several quality issues with the Optima Red Tops not holding a charge. I am ready for a replacement and have chosen the Odyssey PC925MJT which is an awesome, lightweight drycell battery. Look up on www.batterymart.com as they have an excellent price for this battery. FYI.

Went to the dealer, and the z-06 2001,2002 has a special batttery.
fiber mat.
Be interesting to weight it,
i'm going to leave it till shoots craps.

Is that the 75/35??? I was told by Optima for my Z I want the 35 series. I know there is also a 74/38. Which is correct?

The stock hold down will not work with an Odyssey. Check this out for a quick and easy solution.

I'm doing something similar with my '68 Firebird. Not the sturdiest mount, but certainly economical. Thanks for the info!
