How can these 2 guys be members since 1969? That was years before Al Gore invented the internet.

Wow, 2128 pages of members. A huge number signed up in Feb 99 when this thing came alive. I had to go way in to find myself and I came aboard on 4/7/99.

Makes you wonder how many of those on those 2,128 pages are still active.

That date indicates that the MySQL database did not receive a properly formatted date when the account was created. When that happens, MySQL will assume a default date, which is 12-31-1969.

Zero time in UNIX is 1 January 1970. One second less than that, or an un-entered/ nonexistent time, comes up in UNIX as 23:59 Dec 31, 1969.

Give the guys a break. Maybe they WERE havin a forum back then. They could have been sending postcards each week, talking about their Stingrays. Even Google was different then, much slower. Here's how Google looked in 1969:
